What an amazing weekend for Bruno Marotti last weekend at the celebrated One Hour Classic on Lake Garda, hosted by Circolo Surf Torbole.
We caught up with Bruno for his thoughts on his amazing achievement, setting 2 new records, one on foil and one on fin.
"Obviously very happy and also a litte bit surprised regarding the 2 broken records.
To be honest the FIN record is the one I have always been looking for, for 2 main reasons. One is because the One Hour was the very first international race that I really had a good result at, and the second reason is because it is always in memory of Alberto ITA-4.
I always want to remember him and dedicate that performance for him, for all he taught me and for letting me marvel that it was possible to undertake this career.
And it doesn't really matter with who you are competing in the One Hour, in the end it is always you vs you, just trying to beat yourself and be a better version of yourself."
